Arcon Africa Architects was established in 2001 and is a professional architectural firm, based in Tzaneen in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The practice offers comprehensive architectural services. Projects are overseen by Henk Schmidt, director and senior professional architect who is a registered member of the South African Council for the Architectural Profession since 1997, as well as a member of the South African Institute of Architects. 

Project experience includes residential buildings, hospitals and clinics, schools and educational buildings, sport and recreation, institutional and office buildings, religious buildings, commercial centres and leisure projects. 

The firm has been involved in the design and construction of private lodges, commercial hotels and leisure developments located within wildlife and coastal conservation areas throughout Africa, with projects located in South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
